General information
Papers must be submitted via the ROSA platform - Responsive Online System for Acta Horticulturae submission and review - by clicking on the "Submit" button on the webpage of the relevant symposium.
A valid ISHS user account is required in order to submit the paper. If you do not yet have an ISHS user account, please create your user account here before submitting your paper. Membership created or renewed now is valid until the end of 2022.

As the official language is English, only papers in English will be accepted and reviewed.
Registration for IHC2022 is required for accepted paper of oral and e-poster presentations to be included in the program. All oral presenters are required to be present physically. For e-poster presenters the physical attendance is not compulsory. If for reasons related to Covid-19 regulation, you could not be present, facilities are offered to switch from physical to virtual presentation.
The e-posters will consist of 3-minute flash oral presentations.

Please pay a particular attention to scientific quality and written English as the selection for oral or poster presentation will be based on papers. Papers need to include background and objectives, materials and methods, main results, perspectives. Papers should not exceed 300 words.
ISHS Young Minds Awards will be delivered to the best student oral and poster presentation in each symposium. Students and junior scientists should indicate their interest in the ISHS Young Minds Award by ticking the appropriate box when submitting their paper in ROSA.
In order to allow contributions from as many people as possible, a maximum of 2 papers per presenting author is required. Then, being co-author for other papers is of course possible.
The presenting author of each accepted paper must be registered for IHC2022. In order for an paper to be confirmed for oral presentation, the presenting author must be fully registered before March 30th, 2022.
Full paper submission
After abstract acceptance, all oral presenters, including invited and keynote speakers, must submit a manuscript for Acta Horticulturae – if this is not agreed to by the author(s), the work can be presented as a poster instead. Authors of posters are welcomed to submit their manuscript for Acta Horticulturae but posters cannot be published as such.

After a review by the scientific committee, accepted revised papers will be published as a volume of Acta Horticulturae
The maximum length of a submitted oral or poster paper is 8 pages, including figures, tables and references, and 16 pages for an keynote paper.
